Alright, let’s talk about this Vannes versus PSG match, or whatever they call it. Sounds fancy, huh? I don’t know much about these city folks’ games, but I’ll tell ya what I saw, or what they told me, anyway.
So, first off, they played sometime in January 2022. January 3rd, to be exact, if my memory serves me right. It was one of them “Coupe de France” matches. Sounds French, don’t it? Probably some big deal for them city slickers.
Now, this Vannes team, I ain’t never heard of ’em. They say they ain’t ranked high, not like this PSG bunch. PSG, now that’s a name I’ve heard tossed around. Seems they’re a big deal in this “Ligue 1” thing. Always topping the tables, they say. Must be good, I reckon.
The game, well, it was a bit of a whoopin’, from what I gather. PSG, they scored four goals. Four! And Vannes? Zilch. Not a single one. Poor fellas, they probably tried their best, but PSG was just too strong. Like a bull in a china shop, I’d say.
- PSG won, that’s for sure.
- Vannes didn’t score, not even once.
- It was played in Vannes, at some place called “Stade de la Rabine.” Sounds grand, doesn’t it?
They say the game started at 8:10 PM, UTC time. Whatever that means. City folks and their fancy times. Back home, we just go by sunrise and sunset, that’s good enough for me.
I heard tell of some fella named Lucas Daury, playing for Vannes. Tried to score from outside the box, they say. Missed though. Shame. Would’ve been somethin’ to see, I bet.
You know, they got all these websites and things now, where you can watch the game live, or see the scores, or even watch little bits of the good parts. “Highlights,” they call ’em. I don’t understand it much, but the young’uns seem to like it. They can watch it on their phones and their computers, anytime, anywhere. Imagine that!
Anyway, PSG beat Vannes, four to nothin’. That’s the long and short of it. A real trouncing, if you ask me. Vannes probably went home feelin’ mighty low, but that’s how it goes sometimes. You win some, you lose some. And sometimes, you get beat real bad.
They keep track of all these games, you know. They got these tables and charts, showing who’s won and who’s lost, how many goals they scored, and all that jazz. It’s all very organized, I’ll give ’em that. More organized than my chicken coop, that’s for sure!
So yeah, Vannes versus PSG. A one-sided affair, it seems. PSG showed ’em who’s boss, and Vannes learned a tough lesson that day. But hey, that’s life, ain’t it? You get knocked down, you gotta get back up and try again. Maybe next time Vannes will give ’em a run for their money. Or maybe not. We’ll see.
And that’s about all I know about that there game. Hope it made some sense to ya. It’s just a bunch of fellas kickin’ a ball around, if you ask me, but some folks seem to get real worked up about it. To each their own, I say.
