Lyon vs Strasbourg: Who Will Win the Match?

Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Lyon and Strasbourg thing, eh? I don’t know much about fancy footy talk, but I watched the game, ya know? Like, the one where them boys were runnin’ around kickin’ the ball.

So, this Lyon team, they ain’t been doin’ so hot lately, that’s what I hear. Lost a bunch of games, they did. But they say they’re supposed to win this one, the bookie folks, you know, the ones who take your money. They say Lyon’s the favorite, but I ain’t so sure, sometimes these things, they go all wonky.

Strasbourg, now, I don’t know much about them neither. But they got this fella, Andrey Santos, seems like he got tripped or somethin’, got a free kick. That Gift Orban fella from Lyon, he did the trippin’, I guess. Kids these days, always runnin’ around, causin’ trouble. Then there was that Malick Fofana, another Lyon boy, he messed up too. Fouls, they call ‘em. Too much roughhousin’ if you ask me.

I remember one game, it was a cup thing, Coupe De France, they called it. Fancy name, huh? Anyways, them boys, they just kicked the ball around for ages, and nobody scored. Zero-zero, that’s what it was. A big ol’ waste of time if you ask me. I like it when they score goals, makes it more excitin’, ya know?

But then there was this other game, it was a real barn burner! Lyon won, but it was close, real close. Four to three, they say. Lyon scored four, Strasbourg scored three. That’s a lot of goals, even for me to keep track of. They say Lyon had a “remarkable comeback.” That just means they were losin’ and then they started winnin’, right? Sounded like a good one, wish I’d seen that with my own eyes! They were callin’ it “Ligue 1 McDonald’s, Round 3”. Don’t know what the burgers have to do with it, but there you go.

  • Lyon lost some games lately.
  • Strasbourg got a free kick in one game.
  • One game ended zero-zero, what a bore.
  • Lyon won one game four-three, that’s more like it!

There was also talk about this Lens team. They’re doin’ good, winnin’ lots of games. And this Paris St. Germain, they beat up on Strasbourg too. Scored four goals, them city boys did. Seems like everyone’s scorin’ but Strasbourg! Well, except for that one time they got three against Lyon. But still.

So, what’s the deal with this game comin’ up? Lyon versus Strasbourg, right? Well, if them bookie fellas are right, Lyon should win. But like I said, you never know. Maybe Strasbourg will surprise everyone. Maybe they’ll get another free kick, maybe Gift Orban will behave himself, maybe them fellas will score more than three this time. Who knows?

Football, it’s a funny game. Sometimes the team that’s supposed to win, they lose. And sometimes the team that’s supposed to lose, they win. That’s why folks watch it, I guess. Keeps you on your toes, that’s for sure. I just like it when the boys give it their all. Win or lose, as long as they try hard, that’s all that matters to me.

So there you have it. My two cents on this Lyon and Strasbourg match. It ain’t fancy, but it’s honest. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some dinner. All this talk about football makes a body hungry.
