We are a Chilean record label founded in 2010 by musicians Nicolás Vera and Sebastián Jordán, dedicated to documenting and disseminating the music of today’s Chilean jazz scene. Since its founding, the label has published more than 30 albums, incorporating music from national musicians and composers, some in collaboration with international artists.
The label has also been an active partner in a number of important cultural exchange activities: the 2011 tour “Chile—Finlandia Connection”; the 2012 and 2016 project “Jazz Duit,” the Traveling International Jazz Festival in Chile; and also the International Thelonious Chile Festival in 2014 and 2015.
In 2015, financed by the Chilean Fund for Music, the label is managing the Pendiente del Sur Catalog, which is producing CDs and documentary footage of six national artists.
We are very grateful to the collaborators who have contributed an important photographic archive to the project: Roberto Barahona, Francisco Gallardo, Luis Catrilef, Melissa Morano, Cristián Soto L., Alexis Díaz B. y Diego Pequeño.
